Discover our bold new engineering and design campus at Fishermans Bend – opening 2025

The University of Melbourne is building a new campus at Fishermans Bend. Purpose-built facilities will enable large-scale experimentation, prototyping and pilot testing.

The new campus, just five kilometres from the CBD, will open in 2025. It will be located in Australia's leading innovation precinct for engineering and design.

Industry partners will be able to co-locate on campus and access the University's latest technology, resources and knowledge. This will promote collaboration between researchers and industry. Together we can do more. We will push the boundaries in engineering and design innovation. We will fast-track research innovations to market to solve global challenges.
