Facilities & Resources

Explore the facilities and resources that make discovery and impact possible.

Supporting research and knowledge

Whether you’re a University researcher or one of our many collaborators and partners, we have the facilities and resources you need to accelerate your research. This includes everything from libraries, rare collections and contemporary galleries, through to digital expertise, technology platforms and infrastructure.

Research and industry precincts also help to enhance your research. These precincts facilitate innovation by bringing together researchers, industry partners and entrepreneurs in the one location. Experts from different institutions, organisations and disciplines can collaborate to create new knowledge or to solve challenges.

Find out how the University’s facilities and resources can support your research and make discovery possible.

How archives support research: Helping care leavers discover their past

More than half a million people have been placed in institutional and out-of-home care in Australia. This includes members of the Indigenous Stolen Generations and Former Child Migrants.

Find and Connect helps care leavers piece together the story of their lives, using archives, documents and photographs.

These records are important for people's identities, but they also have practical uses. For example, care leavers may not have copies of their birth certificate, which can make it hard to get a driver’s license or passport.
