The Started@Melbourne Showcase is an annual event showcasing exciting startups emerging from the University of Melbourne innovation ecosystem.
The 2024 event theme is ‘from idea to impact’ – highlighting and celebrating the often long and challenging journey to take an early-stage idea or research discovery through to impact in the community via a startup.
This year’s Started@Melbourne Showcase startups are on a mission to conquer major global challenges including urban flooding, sustainable food development, more inclusive education and new diagnostics and therapies for life-threatening medical conditions such as Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, sepsis and cancer.
