Grants of A$15 000 are available to support new collaborative projects relating to affordable housing.
About the funds
Funds will be awarded from a pool of A$65 000. We aim to fund projects that generate new knowledge, insights, teams, impact and ideas relating to affordable housing. We encourage cross-faculty collaboration and projects that connect with industry, government and not-for-profit partners.
Funds of up to A$15 000 may be allocated per research project.

How to apply
If you are interested in applying for funding, you will be asked to submit an application with a fully costed budget, extended project description and 1-page CVs of each investigator.

Pitch presentations event
20 July 2021, 9am – 12pm
Applicants will be invited to pitch their projects to the HRIAH steering committee, fellow applicants, and others that have taken part in the earlier events. Funding will be distributed to successful applicants based on an attendee voting process, with final funding distribution sign-off by the HRIAH Steering Committee.

This in-person 'speed dialogue' session includes a range of special guests from academia, industry, government and the not-for-profit sector. Come along to meet new collaborators, share your interests and hep shape the Hallmark's research priorities.

The research proposal open space

The HRIAH is hosting an open space session that builds on the key themes identified by participants in the 'Burning Questions' speed dialogue session. We hope to bring together new ideas, new partnerships and new commitments to affordable housing delivery and research.
Affordable Housing - Seed Funding Pitch Presentations
July 20 2021, 9am – 12pm
Come along to see teams pitch their big ideas for affordable housing research. You will have the opportunity to provide feedback to the pitching teams and will also take part in voting for the best projects based on project quality, project team, potential for impact, and partnerships and scalability.
Attend in person at the Melbourne School of Design or online.
