NEW DELHI LAUNCH
The program was first launched in the Indian capital New Delhi by Professor Glyn Davis AC the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Melbourne. Amongst others, Professor Davis was joined by Mr Patrick Suckling, Australian High Commissioner to India.
CHENNAI LAUNCH
In Chennai the program was launched by Deputy Vice-Chancellor Prof Sue Elliott (University of Melbourne) and Professor Bhaskar Ramamurthi (Director of IITM) at IIT Madras. Among the participants were Mr Stuart Campbell, Charge d’Affairs to South India at the Australian Consulate in Chennai.
