Technical Assistance

Bioresources animal technicians are able to assist researchers with a variety of techniques. These range from basic handling and manual restraint, through to sample collection, injections, gavages and experimental monitoring such as weight changes and onset of diabetes.

The technicians are also an excellent source of training for new researchers. A number of specialised services are available through Bioresources or through our partners on the Parkville campus. These include CRISPr, rederivations, IVF and cryopreservation. For any genetically modified organism approvals please contact the Biosecurity team. Further assistance with statistical computation is available through the UoM Statistical Consulting Centre.
