figshare

Safely store, share, collaborate on, and publish your research data in any format.

figshare complements a rich portfolio of tools and services, such as Minerva and Altmetric, already available in the University's research community. It's seamlessly integrated with our existing data storage infrastructure, making figshare trustworthy, secure to use and easy to adopt.

figshare is an interface for uploading your research – all data is operated from and stored on the University's data storage infrastructure.

Why use it?

It's easy to deposit your publications via Minerva Elements and theses via Minerva Access (for more details go to http://minerva.unimelb.edu.au/help), but what about all that valuable research data that you have accumulated that supports or extends those publications, or that will support future publications, or that you want to share with others while you are working on it, or the code you wrote or the datasets you established or the posters you've created, or … really, any other research data you need to safely store, share or cite?

It sits alongside these to help you organise all of your non-publication research data in ways that work best for you.

Here is a summary table to help you to see how melbourne.figshare.com can meet your needs.
