Miniature chemical classifier

1 Minute read

This new miniature device is ideal for in-situ chemical monitoring. Partner with us to further develop and validate this technology for industrial and defence applications.

The technology

This is a super lightweight and small volume device for chemical detection and classification. It consists of a nanophotonic filter and a thermal sensor. It is ideal for in-situ industrial or environmental chemical monitoring.

Market need

Conventional sensors are limited to detection of only a small number of chemicals. They are hundreds of grams heavier, and customisation is expensive.

Technology status

The device concept has been verified by numerical experiments on twelve selected liquids and gases. A prototype has been built.
