The DRI has established two lively interdisciplinary networks bringing together researchers from universities across Australia and the world to foster communities of researchers concerned with disability rights issues.
These networks support and encourage future collaboration and research on a wide variety of issues across multiple disciplines, including Social Sciences, Law, Psychology and Health.
- Disability Access to Justice Consortium
An interdisciplinary consortium of researchers from Universities, DPOs, and community groups across Australia and New Zealand committed to extending the reach and impact of research on access to justice issues of people with disability.
- International Disability Human Rights Research Network
A platform for disability researchers around the world to link with key human rights organisations and with the voice of people with disability and pursue research that relates to the exercise and realisation of the rights guaranteed in the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities
