Wave-4, Hallmark Research Initiatives

Call for Expressions of Interest

The Deputy Vice-Chancellor Research has called for Expressions of Interest (EoI) from internal applicants for the establishment of 'Wave 4' of the Hallmark Research Initiatives, for commencement in early 2019.

A summary of 'rationale, objectives and process', outlining a typical structure for a Hallmark Research Initiative and including a template for Expressions of Interest is provided. Download the 'Summary and EoI template' (PDF 145KB).

Expressions of interest, using the template provided, should be emailed to Chancellery Research and Enterprise at hallmark-initiatives@unimelb.edu.au with the subject line "Hallmark Research Initiative EoI" at any time in September 2018, and no later than 30 September. A panel will meet to consider the EoIs and it is anticipated that decisions will be made and communicated before the end of November, with year 1 funding available from early 2019.

Enquiries about the development of EoIs should be directed to Professor Mark Hargreaves, Pro Vice-Chancellor (Research Collaboration and Partnerships) - e. m.hargreaves@unimelb.edu.au or t. x56491.
