Campus life
Our University campuses offer more than formal learning. They provide a unique place to socialise, share ideas, relax and stay healthy.
We have a diverse range of clubs, societies and communities that you can join. From the political to the sporting, there is something for everyone. Clubs and societies are also a great way to meet people outside your area of research.
The Graduate Student Association (GSA) facilitates more than 100 graduate student groups. Joining a graduate student group is a great way to connect with fellow graduates. If you don’t see a group relating to your interests or discipline, you can always start one yourself.
Our University of Melbourne Student Union oversees hundreds of clubs and societies including Student Theatre.
Some faculties have their own societies that are course related:
Whatever your taste in exercise, we have something for you. We have 40 sporting clubs and discounted gym and pool rates for students.
Participating in sport is a great way to meet new people. See Melbourne University Sport for more information.
