    Pro Vice-Chancellor (Research Collaboration & Partnerships)

As Pro Vice-Chancellor (Research Collaboration & Partnerships), Professor Mark Hargreaves has responsibility for internal collaborative schemes (Melbourne Interdisciplinary Research Institutes, Hallmark Research Initiatives, Networks and Alliances) and for the important relationships between the University and its research partners.

Mark is Professor of Physiology, with teaching and research interests in exercise physiology and metabolism. His studies have examined the effects of acute and chronic exercise on skeletal muscle carbohydrate metabolism. His range of academic experience includes a major leadership role in the curriculum developments as part of the Melbourne Model implementation.
