Le Centre national de la recherche scientifique (The National Centre for Scientific Research), known as CNRS, is a French government research organisation under the administrative authority of France’s Ministry of Research. CNRS is the largest fundamental research organisation in Europe and operates across all fields of research through its ten institutes.
The Researcher Visits scheme aims to increase collaboration between the University of Melbourne and CNRS by enabling researchers to identify, initiate and develop collaborative research activities. In doing so, it is anticipated that scheme participants will jointly pursue new domestic and international funding opportunities in Australia, France and internationally.
