Create beautiful interactive data visualisations for the web

As researchers we often forget to communicate our research effectively. Our questions and findings get all too easily tucked away as small, sombre, and static figures (or worse, as slabs of text).

There is no doubt that the web is the best platform for exploring data, explaining concepts, and telling research stories.

Tools like D3 allow us to create beautiful interactive visualisations for the internet, giving us the means to easily present our data and creative web presence that goes far beyond established publication.

During the course, you will learn how to set-up a web page using HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Building on this knowledge, you will learn how to use D3 for user-driven data animations.

This course is FREE for researchers (PhDs, Postgrads, PostDocs & Profs)
