Inaugural Event - Uncovering Synergies

ESPRIt ran its inaugural workshop and networking event "Uncovering Synergies" on Wednesday the 21st of June. See here for more detail.

We would like to thank those who attended our workshop on Economic and Social Participation to attend our inaugural workshop and networking event on 21 June.

The key aim for this event was to bring people together from different disciplines with a shared interest in Economic and Social Participation. Six senior researchers gave short  presentations on what Economic and Social Participation means from an economics, legal, disability, policy-design, housing and educational perspective. Participants also learnt about future seed-funding opportunities for their own research ideas. After the presentations, we welcomed all attendants to stay for drinks and nibbles and exchange their own views and ideas on the topic.

Speakers at the event included:

Jeff Borland – Faculty of Business and Economics
Anna Chapman – Melbourne Law School
Dan Woodman – Faculty of Arts
Anne Kavanagh – Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences
Jenny Lewis – Faculty of Arts
Carolyn Whitzman – Faculty of Architecture, Building and Planning
