Jordan is a Business Development Director within the Research, Innovation & Commercialisation (RIC) team at the University of Melbourne. In this role, Jordan is responsible for leading the growth, development and management of a pipeline and portfolio of commercial opportunities for the University with a focus on Architecture, Engineering, Physical Sciences and other relevant disciplines.

In over 30 years building, growing, advising and investing in entrepreneurial ventures in Australia, Europe, Asia and the USA, Jordan has assisted thousands of companies. He is an internationally recognised thought leader in early-stage investing and is an experienced director, CEO, principal engineer, technology specialist, project manager, consultant and investor for senior management teams in Australia and overseas.
A Silicon Valley software veteran, Jordan was a founding partner of one of the best performing venture capital fund managers in Australia. Jordan is a leader in the Angel investor communities in Australia, Asia and the USA. With first-hand experience in the strategic and tactical applications of engineering, manufacturing, computing and information technologies to business and industry, Jordan has lived on the cutting edge and evolved with the industry, leadership, management, sales, marketing, revenue, investment and development models that underpin today’s technology-driven commercial markets.
A Fellow of the Australian Association of Angel Investors (AAAI) and Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Jordan was first qualified as an electronics engineer (RMIT), then undertook a Postgraduate Research Fellowship in biomedical engineering at the Technion (Israel Institute of Technology), has been a Chartered Professional Engineer for more than 20 years, completed an MBA at the Melbourne Business School and has a number of postgraduate qualifications in marketing, product development and managing innovation.
